High levels of violence and harassment experienced by teachers.
Activities
SEB was instrumental in working with the government to ensure the criminalisation of the harassment of teachers in legislation. This also relied on the experience from teachers’ unions in other EU Member States.
Results
Change in legislation. As a result, violence against teachers, including gender-based violence, has been radically reduced.
