Reason it was developed

Public services are a fundamental axis for the fair and equitable functioning of any society. They are tools common to all citizens to guarantee the well-being, social justice, equality, and labor and civil rights of all people. This platform is a space for reflection and collective action to incorporate diversity and an intercultural and anti-racist perspective in Public Administrations within the project: “Management and Attention to Diversity in Public Function”.

Activities

- Identify and incorporate inclusion and interculturality as principles of intervention in public services. - Know the processes involved in the categorization (stereotypes) and undervaluation (prejudices) of groups or minorities in society and their effects. - Promote spaces for exchange to analyze professional practices and propose changes that result in a guarantee of equal treatment and non-discrimination from public services. - Know strategies and tools to work on interculturality and inclusion in intervention, services and public policies. - Training and support for union delegates to incorporate the principles and rights that we defend into their union function. - Actions carried out with indicators of union scope or incidence. - Presentation of the project before the 17 Autonomous Communities and 2 Autonomous Cities. - Preparation and distribution of materials in public administration work centers: 2,000 Guides Guide for the application of the intercultural and anti-racist approach in public services, 15,000 brochures and 10,000 posters, 5 videos, 10,000 stickers, 80,000 postcards. - Delivery of 4 face-to-face training courses. Participants: 105 Locations. Andalusia, Castilla León, Balearic Islands and Extremadura - Delivery of 4 online training courses accredited by the University of León. - Teaching of 2 Webinars, training through networks. - Design and management of the website and online materials.

Results

- 108,761 direct beneficiaries' distribution of prepared materials - 1,002 enrolled in the training. 620 beneficiaries trained in 8 training actions carried out. Score obtained in the courses by the participants has been 4.6 out of 5. - 25,634 web and social media beneficiaries. - 761 downloads of the guide and 3,239 views. - Presentation of the project before the 17 Autonomous Communities and 2 Autonomous Cities.
